My name is Hugh Begbie. I am Principal of Cromwell College at the University of Queensland and Chair of the organizing committee for the AHAUCHI conference this year. I warmly invite you to familiarize yourself with the program and register for the conference as soon as you can. Personally, I hope to get out of the conference a chance, not only to learn about things, but more importantly to reflect on why I do what I do and how my leadership is informed by the values and beliefs I hold.

Brisbane is a lovely city in Spring. The nights are cool to mild but the days warm. You will also enjoy your visits to the beautiful St Lucia Campus. Can I commend the conference to you, encourage you to come and invite you to bring your Deputy or Dean as well.
