Camtu IT Business at Corrimal wins woman prime prize.

A Corrimal business woman has been named Sydney Business Woman of the Year. Camtu Pham, CEO of CleverLink Internet, Technology and Graphics, was awarded the top prize out of 18 finalists.

She started her company in 1998 and by 2003 was rated among top IT companies such as Yahoo, Nokia and Canon.

Pham's Business Acumen Recognised

CamtuCorrimal woman Camtu Pham was named the Sydney Business Woman of the Year for 2005 at a function on Friday night.

The managing director of internationally-recognised company CleverLink which offered web design and e-commerce consultancy services, came to Australia from Vietnam in her early teens, when she could not speak a word of English.

Camtu, who arrived in Australia from Vietnam in her early teens without a word of English, heads up the IT enterprise which offers web design and e-commerce consultancy services. The Managing Director of this internationally acclaimed company lectures at the University of Wollongong, is an author, mother and a much-in-demand public speaker in Australia and overseas.

Exhibiting and Speaking at the Bizfest Illawarra

CamtuCleverLink is proud to have participated at the recent Bizfest expo held at Shellharbour City Stadium and we are pleased that the event was very successful.

Many delegates came to CleverLinks booth, and overall had a great response. CleverLink was included among other companies including Westpac Bank, i98fm, Optus Communications and Wollongong Online.

Camtu creates world-class IT business - and her own Heaven

Camtu Pham, the MD of the internationally recognised CleverLink Internet Technology Graphic at Corrimal on the South Coast, arrived in Australia in her early teens without a word of English.

However, this did not deter her from passing her Higher School Certificate at Smith's Hill High School and going on to the University of Wollongong to obtain a degree in Computing Science and later a Masters in Commerce.

Camtu, the mother of a 10- month-old baby, is now mixing parenthood with managing a fast-growing business --- and loving it.

Camtu started her working career with the Department of Defence in Canberra before returning to Wollongong in 1996 where she was employed as a project leader at the University of Wollongong.

The Student Leadership and Business Development Program, a UniCentre initiative driven by the Centre for Student Development, has run twice in 2002, and 92 students have completed training courses and work experience.
